Executive Sales Manager

Location: Sandpoint, Idaho (on-site strongly preferred)

Reports to: President

Tamarack Aerospace is seeking a dynamic, technically savvy Executive Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts for Tamarack’s Active Winglet™ technology. The Executive Sales Manager will own the sales process from qualified lead through deal close and post-sale follow-up — turning interest into signed contracts and satisfied clients into referrals.

This role is focused on strategic selling, relationship development, and securing meaningful deals with aircraft operators, fleet owners, and industry partners.

This position offers a base salary plus commission with unlimited upside potential based on performance. The right candidate will have the opportunity to significantly increase their earnings by driving strong results. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional with strong aviation knowledge (ideally a CE525 current pilot) who thrives on the thrill of the close, commands respect in the cockpit and the in the industry; and brings structure and discipline to the sales function.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Commercial Strategy

o Guide leadership on sales goals, pricing strategy, and resource allocation.

o Bring sales best practices and professionalism to Tamarack’s sales process.

o Own forecast accuracy and deal progression.

Close Deals

o Take qualified leads from the sales team and drive them through the sales funnel to close.

o Lead high-value sales conversations with aircraft owners, operators, and partners.

o Manage pricing discussions and deal structure with confidence and integrity.

o Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements.

High-Value Relationship Management

o Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.

o Act as a trusted advisor on performance upgrades, operational efficiency, and Tamarack’s unique value proposition.

o Provide post-sale support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and future opportunities.

Internal Collaboration & Leadership

o Work closely with Tamarack leadership to align commercial strategy with company goals.

o Mentor and provide guidance to sales associates on qualifying and handing off leads.

o Contribute to sales tool development, CRM refinement, and performance reporting.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Pilot Credentials: Current pilot, ideally CE525 type-rated. A performance-minded “thinking pilot” who can speak credibly to operators.

Proven Closer: Identifies as a sales professional. Deep experience managing high-value pipelines and success in closing complex B2C and B2B deals.

Location & Travel: Willing to live in Sandpoint, ID and travel globally to support sales initiatives.
